We have a water leak in the ceiling. Its dripping right over the computer. Hmmm... Could this be why my modem is acting up??? I think so... So I called my landlord and he came down. He went home unhappy. He has decided he cannot procrastinate on the house any longer. He is looking at 25k in repairs. He is going to go ahead and put on a new roof. He is going to extend it out over the deck and make it covered. He is going to remove the pine tree in the backyard. O M G YEAH!!! I am so happy about that!!! He is also going to replace the back deck. He admitted he has let things go here for too long as a way to save some cash but he knows he needs to fix this place up a bit. He is paying for repairs on his other houses and a kids college but knows its time to spend some on here. Its been 17 years since he has done any major fixes. He says he doesn't think he will raise my rent. We have been here a very long time and he would hate to loose us. So hopefully he doesn't.

FYI We don't know if the leak is pipe or from the deck. But there is water damage on the floor upstairs from the past leaks so...
