lost my ever loving mind... There is no escaping it. Seriously. So today we went salmon fishing and no we didn't score any fish. But I check my email and I have one!! Its from the fruit lady. You see where this is going right??? Well.... Its that time of year... Bartlett pears this Saturday and Peaches next. Someone *me whistles innocently* ordered 50 lbs of each. YES I SAID EACH!!! I guess I am not done canning this year. So next week I have another project to do. And the week after. Then in Oct I have apples season. My kids absolutely love homemade applesauce. I have had to buy a ton of new jars this year. Not sure why. Well.. Ok I have not ever put up this much in one season but hopefully it will help a lot this winter.  I hope we can eat better and healthier since I am taking care of it now. I got 50 lbs of apples last year and we ate 45 lbs of them. We had 5 apples go bad and made one pan of applesauce. So this year I am thinking of buying 100 lbs and making a big batch of applesauce. I need to advance plan this out. And see how many jars I have and how many more I can store.

 We hope to get a few salmon this year. The girls love it smoked.  I like it baked at 325 for 15 min or so with some cajun seasoning on it. Or my homemade BBQ sauce. Speaking of... I still have no ripe tomatoes. It's really starting to irk me. I want my maters!!!!! I wanted to make some homemade salsa and if by some weird chance we had a huge crop we were going to try ketchup. That is my someday wish.  I have done all kinds of meats, veggies fruit, etc... Never done ketchup. I really need ot jsut have a huge garden of my own and elminate the middle men. I think I need to move somewhere south east of here to do that. Or build a really big greenhouse. 

Product Rave today..... I love my wii!! I have been doing wii fit. I enjoy it!! Ok the boxing kicks my butt. I enjoy the step part and the yoga. The girls like to play smash brothers. Jon likes to play game cube games on it. We play it almsot everyday. So thank you Jon for getting one!! You will not be allowed ot tkae it with you when you move out.  MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
