NO! NO! NO!!!! My friends 16 yo son died. He was at a church activity and that was it. He has a known heart defect and had a pace maker put in when he was very little. He has been doing well the last several years. This is totally unexpected. The worst part was this happened a month ago and I just now found out. I hadn't spoke with her for about 6 months and wow I am just in shock. She got divorced and remarried and then her son passed away. I have known her for over 12 years. She was one of the first people to hold Meega. She watched the older kids while I was giving birth to her. Carla was known as the big brown blob to my kids. She had a rocking chair and would sit and rock meega and tell her she couldn't see anything but a big brown blob. It was a long standing joke between us after that.  Meega's first grade teacher was also Evan's teacher. I am just so sad. I feel so bad that I had not talked with her in a long time and she had been such a part in our lives.  I am so sad for her loss...
