Homeward Bound

We headed out for home at about 1 hoping ot miss the majority of the crowd. We watched almost every other rv leave the park. We did walk down to the bunkers and let the girls play one last time. They were very sad to head home. They asked why we could not stay all week. If they did not have cheer and school we could of. It was nice and peaceful there. So we left the park and headed down the road. We did wind up having to put some gas in which was a good idea since we hit horrendous traffic. We got going about 40 min into the trip and it was stopped. I was shocked!!! It took us about 30 min to cross the hood canal bridge. Luckily we were in an rv. I jumped up while we were stopped and grabbed some hummus and pita chips. We scarfed those gone ( I had been eating the chips and hummus al weekend for lunch) so I grabbed the watermelon we had cut up in a bag and dumped it into cereal bowls and passed them out. The girls then moved onto potato chips and a bag of popcorn I had popped before we left. They curled up on the couch and read books while we travelled home.

We finally got home and spent about 30 min unpacking. We did 5 loads of laundry. Not to bad. The house was clean which I am glad about. Jon was a major grouch. Not sure what his issue is. I am thinking he is just really tired. Dave is closing manager this week. He finally has his promotion. His first time closing Jon is his closing driver. We shall see how that goes.

We are waiting for my annoying neighbor to come over again now that we parked the rv in the front. She has issues with anyone doing anything without her consultation. This is the same bored old woman who waited until we were on vacation about 4 years ago and called the city on us. Another unique thing about hits house? The front yard is actually city property. The road was zoned for a 4 lane one but never got put in so our front yard goes out on city property. So when old bat gets bored she calls the city on us for parking in our own driveway and we get ticketed. Seriously. She also seems to think the on street parking is reserved for her. She has harassed visitors to us before about parking there. She is also nosy. She rents the bottom of her house out and we see her up here going through his trash. She wears a bright orange (I kid you not ORANGE like a clown) wig. We have seen her out in her yard in a bathrobe and no wig. We also have seen her with wig straps hanging down and the kids giggling at it. We do understand she is elderly and very lonely. But please someone ask her to stay in her own yard and leave us alone!!!!! There is a long not nice history between my landlord and her for 20 years now. I think that is a part of it. She doesn't like anyone...

Ok enough randomness from me. I am outta here!! My bed is calling!
