My oldest is officially an adult. She turned 21 today. Time to be a grown up and act like an adult. The childhood is officially over!!! Well... hers was over when she got married and had a baby but that is another story for another day. She chose to spend today away from her family and she doesn't realize I had some surprises lined up for her and abandoned all my plans. Would of been nice if her husband would of kept us in the loop so I wasn't so disappointed at not giving her my gift. Oh well...

Today I am 3 weeks post-op. Do I miss having periods ?? NOT AT ALL!!!! Does this recovery bite big time?? YES!!!! Would I do it over?? I honestly right now do not know. I have an irritated nerve my Dr wants to do an injection on for pain control. I am thinking that if Dave can come in with my on Monday letting him do it. The injections hurt!!! I had pressure point ones done a few years back and wanted to curl up and die. Afterwards I felt good but its the initial pain I am scared of.  I have seen my sort of official surgery report. It's very interesting!!! Seriously!!! My uterus was the size if I was 8 weeks pregnant. I was also asked repeatedly (and now I know why) if I really had given natural childbirth. Apparently my pelvis is extremely narrow. That played into why I am cut the way I am. When they got me all taken apart they were very surprised at how narrow things are. I have stitch on my hip bone ( the farthest out one ) that is still giving me fits. I gather it is rubbing on a nerve and annoying me. Bad stitch!!! Dr did clear me for very limited driving and to go camping as long as I promised to do nothing but lay on the beach in a lawn chair. I can do that!!!

Marissa is feeling better and is back in school. She is enjoying cheer. We got her official papers today for her to change schools so everything is a go! She is ubber excited! 2 of her cheer friends are camping at the same place we are next weekend. she is happy and the are planning jokes on people already.
