SO ANGRY!!!!!

I AM SO ANGRY!!!!! And that is putting it very, very, very mildly!!! I cannot believe what I experienced tonight!!!! Meega had her spring choir concert this evening.  She has enjoyed the class so far this year. I did not like that is was mandatory but whatever. I am so glad I left Stephie at home with Jon. We( Meega and I ) went and settled in for the duration. We heard the first choir sing their 3 or 4 songs. Then came the intermission where the kids are changing on the stage. They drew the curtain and these 2 girls came out to "entertain" us while we waited. Before I go on this was a G rated spring concert. I am appalled at this concert. These 2 girls did a dance I would expect to see in a bar. Not a G rated spring choir concert. The song was "low" or "apple bottom jeans" I have heard 2 different titles for the same song. And for the record I did a survey of several young adults ( 18-20 yo) and every one of them could not believe this song was played. It is not something I would ever in my life expose any of my children to!!!!! NEVER!!!!!! I was not only parent offended by this. I stood up mid song and confronted the principal. He saw nothing wrong with it. I then took my child and left. I was not the only parent who left. I cannot believe what this teacher is doing. I spoke at length with my child and discovered the teacher helped them choreograph the dance. She approved the song and had no issue with it. The song talks all about prostitution!!!!! Have I mentioned how angry I am???? I am going to the school first thing tomorrow and going to deal with this. This teacher will not teach my child. She has crossed the line. My daughter is 11!!!!!!! Meega has complained all year about this teacher and has not liked her. Now I see why. After I am done at the school I am going to District. I want this person removed. She has no business teaching a young child in any situation. After that I will be letting my local newspapers know what happened. I will not sit back and have this happen. There is no reason to be a sheep. I have the time to spend and will do it for the good of my child. She is a priority and we will not be giving in. This woman will NOT EVER EVER EVER teach my child again. I will do whatever it takes to prevent it. Luckily we planned on moving school next year but we have 3 months to get through.

Below is my original post. I had written it earlier before this happened. I had to edit it.

First off even my blog is dressed for today!! I turned it GREEN!!! I had to!!! We went to the gym this morning and I don't know how people do it. I went 45 min on the elliptical and am sore. I do not get how people do like an hour and half. I would die. I would not be able to walk!! We came home and showered. Woke Jon up and took him out to lunch. DH had a really good night at work on Saturday so we went to lunch. There is a good but very reasonable cafe/pub ( Toad House) we like. So we went. From their we went to Wal-Mart to get DH new shoes for work. Jon and I had fun in there. We were pushing a little blue basket ( the ones you carry not push) We were shoving it across the floor. We were giggling like mad. Those slide really well across the wood floor in the shoe department. We were having quite a bit o' fun until an employee came around the corner. We looked really innocent and stopped at that point. Giggled about it a lot but still we stopped. The image of getting banned fro ma Wal-Mart doesn't appeal to me. It would be freakin hilarious but still...Meany heads take away all our fun!!!! After there we went to Game Crazy and of course they didn't have what Jon wanted so we had to run into Silverdale. We got his game and a vent clip thingy for his IPod in the car. He had purchased a fm transmitter for it but there was no holder included to hold it.

DH got a call from yet another company for an interview tomorrow. He gets lots for interviews but that is it. Really frustrating!! It was pretty funny actually. He had applied at Toad House like a month ago. While we were in there for lunch DH made a comment about them never calling him for the cooking job and a few minutes later he did get a call for an interview. It was funny!!

We broke down and faced some reality today. There is no way we will be able to move as planned unless some miracle comes up. So it meant that we had better pick a school for the kids for next year. We ran out to Klahowya and got Meega's paperwork sorted out. We are still trying to decide what to do with Stephie. We really really despise the local school system so we are going out of district. It was amusing when we went in. We had Jon with us and one of the counselors asked if he was going to do another year. This is the first year in 6 we haven't had a kid there.
