Grab a drink... Novel ahead!!!!

Please please please shoot me now!!! My day started at 6 AM!!! And the kids did not have school today!!!!!! And it just ended at 9:30 PM!! I am not going to be able to move for a month!! We got up early and ran to Wal-Mart because some items we were after went on clearance last night.( We did get an insurance settlement FYI so we can replace about 50% of what we lost ( YEAH!!!!)) So I now have a new and improved working heated bed pad. ( It helps so much with the Fibro but mine stopped working last winter and we never got around to replacing it) so now was my perfect time!! We also got some towards a new TV!!! So we ran to Wallyworld to see what we could do. The TV we wanted was out of stock So from that we came home empty handed. We did get the mattress pad and it was $30 off!!! GO ME!! I am not putting on the bed until we get the new one next week. We were back home by 8am. We got kids up and dressed and off we went. I have been wanting to go to Ikea to look at a bedroom set. It is a big day trip for us to go there as it is so far away and its by Seattle so traffic is BAD!!!Sure enough there was an accident that caused huge back ups and it took almost 2 hours! We did get Swedish meatballs and lingenberry jam and juice for lunch!! YUM!!! Dave had set up his final interview for today since the guy lives in northern Seattle so it was a dual purpose trip. I roamed Ikea while he went to his interview. The guy was nice and he was in the area so they just met at a nearby Starbucks. He said all that is left is the background check. I now have everything I can cross crossed. We should know a definitive answer next week. They told him it was the only thing holding up the offer. He did tell him Dave what he would offer when he does. Its awesome!! Its about 10k a year more then we asked. It includes a company car we can use for personal too, medical ( which we already have), dental, 401k, loads of stuff!!! So this would be most awesome!!!!

Anywho!!!! We got done there and headed back this way. We decided to stop down at the Army Base but NO the meanyheads would not take my Navy base pass and I had taken the papers for the state in the house. I still had my registration and insurance but the car is not in my name and I didn't have all the stuff on that so no dice. We did get on the air force base no problem but they didn't have any reasonable prices. So we headed home. We stopped at a Wal-Mart on the way but they didn't have what we wanted either. By now I was so tired I decided we are having Subway for dinner. We grabbed some and headed home. Jon had forgot his flashlight nad so he asked if we could drop it off. So since we had to go pay for my furniture we did.

Now about the furniture.... I am so MAD at La-Z-Boy it is not funny. They sold the last set and it will not be for 12 weeks!! min until we would get ours. I am not waiting that long. I may not even be here then!!! They would not sell me the floor model so now I need to keep looking. I am a Huge FREAKIN SAD PANDA!! I cried an ocean over this. So load some very tired peeps back into the car and we headed to Bangor. They didn't have to much on Tv's there but I did get 3 pairs of pj's and 2 new pairs of jeans.(GO me and insurance pennies!!) I still have more clothes to replace for the settlement since I lost 3 days of clothes for everyone in the house.

You tired yet just reading?? Well... We are not done yet!!

We ran up to yet another Wal-Mart and finally they did have the TV!! So we now have a 32" flat screen HDTV!!! ( Not that we have Hd or plan on getting it but all tv's now come with it) Dave is sitting on the floor trying to figure out how to set it all up. We did also have to get a stand for it since we were using a printer stand for the other tv. I hurt in places no one should hurt after shopping. I am so not interested in leaving the house anytime soon. To bad tomorrow is mall night I want to light a fire and snuggle in and not move!!!

So that is just today!! We did also get another estimate on the bathroom and its about $3000 for just the shower. Dave doesn't want to mess with the flooring if we are leaving. I do not get why he did not file on his insurance for he repairs and keeps just paying for them.
