Christmas
We did have an ok day. Marissa made me laugh. She is such a sweet special wonderful child. She knew things were tight and so she went into her little world and found things to give. She used a "secret box" and found some rocks she had collected that were special and wrapped up gifts for everyone. She made little cards and everything. it was awesome. Stephie is a great kid too. She took some of her allowance to school and bought a few little gifts and wrapped those and passed them out. It was special. I also really appreciate my children because of the easy way to please them. Stephie is overjoyed at her "new" camera. She thinks it was the best thing since sliced bread. She also got a "new" loft bed with desk that came from Ikea off craigslist. She loves it! Marissa didn't really want anything. So she got a "new" sweatshirt, a bath robe, some slippers, and some little craft kits.
Jon got a few little gifts and he was happy. He was very surprised to see anything under the tree for him. He got a new wallet and a pair of jeans. Also a pair of sweat pants for sleeping in. He also got Trauma Center New blood for the Wii (I will post another day how we have one and why I will not sell it. He also has an XBOX 360 thanks to my mom) . I have to admit that game is pretty dang funny. It can be played Co-op which is what we were doing. So I was the main player and Jon had the second wii-mote. I was operating and removing tumors. I used my scalpel to cut it out and looked down to find my forceps look up and someone stole my tumor!! Then when I tried to sew him up someone was beating me to it. It was actually very funny. 2 people trying to do the same surgery. It was quite humorous. He makes me giggle. I do so enjoy the child.
Liz came over with the Goobienator! I lubs seeing him. We snuggled and took a
nap together
I tried to corrupt him today. I fed him bits of dinner
and
he doesn't eat real food yet. I fed him sweet potatoes, cranberries, let him
gnaw on a pickle, and some stuffing. He went gaga over the pickle. He likes
candy canes too but I will not fess up to feeding him one or sending him home
with candy cane stain on his shirt. IT WASN'T ME!!! Ok it was but shhhhh... Its
mine and his little secret.
Oh and BTW the Christmas Spongebob special is just so wrong. I can't even begin to describe it. I wish I had thought to record it. Its so bad it's worth watching again. The singing it hilarious. I need to watch it again just to make sure it was as bad as I thought.
One more thing... Tomorrow I have to go to the mall bright and early. I need to find a Specialty Christmas shop before they close up for the year. My green pickle got broken last night. I have been told Santa dropped it. So I am a sad panda. Dave was like it can still be used but I am sick and tired of broken glued back together things. There is no reason to not just try and find a new one. If I do not get one tomorrow I won't ever get one. Same as I was fixing broken lights and Dave tells me to just throw them out since they are several years old but I did keep them until new ones can be purchased. The stores here all clearanced their Christmas items a week ago!!!!I know Dave's thinking and sometimes it really irritates me. If I had conceded on this he would never let me buy new ones. He has been getting on the kids nerves a lot lately. I am tired of clashing with him but I am standing my ground. If it isn't something of his then we don't need it. Just very frustrating.
