Can I go away for a week and come back to a house that is back to normal? I am so tired of living in disarray!! Clean throw out and clean some more....We keep finding more damages then we thought. We did not realize so much water had gone into some rooms. We knew some had but thought maybe like just a bit not inches of it. We also now know that most furniture built these days is just crap. It's made out of pressed wood and soaks up water like a straw and nothing can be done. We are working on putting together an inventory of everything. We had our FEMA inspection this morning. The guy was like ok so what got damaged? I was like we told you we had the new flooring put in. Notice the pile of crap in the backyard? Here are receipts from the dump runs we have made. Notice we have no furniture and everything is now in plastic bins?? And to be honest it is going to stay that way.  My theory is if we hope ot move I can live with stuff packed in bins for a few months. It will in the long run make life easier.
