Can you keep a secret??? It's killing me!! I want to blurt it out!!!!! OK OK OK !! I will share!!! I had posted on Craigslist about wanting a digital camera for Stephie and that I wanted to stay under $50. Well we got a lot of responses but !!!! not a bunch of quality offers. Well most of em were crap cameras not worth buying in the first place. All the good ones go fast!!! Well, my luck was good for once!!!! I got an email from a gentleman only 115 miles from my house!! with a Olympus C 3000 3.3 MP that he is trying to find a good home for. He asked who it was for and what the intended purpose of it is. We send about 10 emails back and forth and he decided we could have it. I did some research on the camera and it was about $800 new when he got it 6 years ago. They resell for about $250. Turns out they are an older retired couple who have a few too many cameras. He got a new one about a year ago and this one was just taking up space. Came with a case , memory card, instructions, software, and some cables. So we arranged to meet with him. He lives WAY!! north of us. So we decided taking a ferry was best bet and avoiding Seattle all together. Well, upon sharing our intended route he and his wife offered to meet us in Edmonds at a Starbucks just up the road!! Score some more!!! We dropped Stephie at school 10 min early, drove 40 min., parked the car in Kingston , walked on the ferry (free one way) , enjoyed a 25 min crossing, walked the 5 blocks!!!! (we were told it was only one( it was freakin cold and windy and I  was a popsicle)) and met them. Score on nice camera!!!! Its sweet!! She is gonna love it!!! Spent 30 min visiting with them. We booked it back to the ferry as it had just docked, paid the few bucks to come home. Played with the "new" camera the whole way and then came home. So she got an ubber awesome camera for about $15!!!! and a few hours of our time. So we saved a ton of money we really didn't have in the first place!!! SO yeah!!! We got an awesome pressie for her!!! I am going to wrap it from Santa to her. This was her one make it present.

Now for Meega.... She is driving me insane!!!!!! She has no idea what would be her best gift. And I can't afford the things she asked for. She wants a Tinkerbelle robe from the Disney store. I had already purchased the purple one form Costco for 1/4 the cost. I found some Tink fleece at Wal-mart. I am making an appliqué and going to put a big Tink on the back of the robe. Best I can do. We did get her the slippers she wanted. So now I need slippers for Stephie. Beyond this I have no clue what to get them. I really dislike holidays!!! I have several good ideas for Goobie but we will see what I can put together. I was trying to remember to ask Liz is he has a stocking yet. I made all of ours a few years ago and wanted to see if she wanted to come make him one with me. But old age set in and I keep forgetting to ask her. Jon is not getting much as he got one gift a few weeks ago. Long story!!!

I still have not heard from my Doctor. So I am going to have to call her tomorrow. Good thing she gave me her number.
