It's Sunday again!!!
Ok for those that don't know what that means let me explain. I do not go anyplace. No stores no business no place where people are paid to be. And yes I plan my weekends. I plan it to make sure we have enough milk/bread/eggs in the house so we have no reason to go out. I think it takes people from their families and homes where they should be. I strongly feel it's a day of rest. And for church but right now we don't go. That is a whole nother long story that I will have to share sometime. We spend this day lounging around the house spending time playing with the kids and if needed catching up on house chores that we are behind on. We mostly spend it playing. We spend a lot of time snuggling and watching movies or reading together. Today I also gave the dog a bath and the girls cleaned the hamster cages. I was taught this lesson on 2 different occasions and trust me I have heard it loud and clear. About 15 years ago in Hawaii we ran to Eagle hardware. Our car was broken into and the stereo stolen. Car did have an alarm. It was a stupid little Hyundai!!! Like it was really worth it. Ironically they did leave my CD. So we did give up going any place on Sundays for a long time. Dave has some things in his life he is struggling with and is kind of testing my feelings on this. This was back in Sept. The saturn ignition went out on a Sunday when we should not have sent Jon to the store for something stupid. It was not a I can't live without this thing and I can't even remember what it was at this point. So I had relaxed a little and we got an expensive reminder to not waiver. I won't forget the lesson again. So to sum it up today was spent doing a lot of nothing. We did make Meega her pork chops she has been asking for. We made 2 loaves of homemade bread. And not much else happened here today. Oh wait!! We did list a bunch of things up for sale on Craigslist and gave a few things away for free. Also talked Dave into getting the Christmas village out and the girls and I will put it up this week. Hopefully Dave and I can get the tree up so it fluffs this week and next weekend we can spend decorating. The girls want us to do it up this year. It's been 3 years since we have done anything fancy. I have 10 or so bins of decorations and it would be kind of fun to be all festive.
