Is it bedtime yet?? Oh no it can't be we still have so much to do!! Like Marissa's homework! Let's see where to begin.. Like I said I live a soap opera. I do not make this stuff up so let's dive into today... Wake up at normal time of 6:30 am!!! Way to early but that's a whole nother story. Get Marissa off to school and snuggle with Stephie. But at 7:30 in the freakin morning the phone rang. Some weird call I couldn't understand so I told them to call back. Back to snuggling I go in my warm blankie with Steph. Get up at normal time and get the day going. Wait we ran 5 min late and missed the bus so I had to drive her today. Go back home and make a list of all the places I need to get to today so I don't forget ( it really was that much) So we head out. Kohl's for those darn socks on sale is first on the list. But as we sat in the turn lane to the mall the phone rings!! Its that guy again. So Dave talks to him and this guy is saying someone illegally accessed out bank account and they caught the person and blah blah blah (i ignored most of it until now) then the guy rattles off our bank account and routing numbers and Dave's former work address!! Back the train up!!! I told Dave to get the contact info from this guy we are going to the bank( which ironically was on the list to make a deposit). So I pulled out of the turn lane( i know bad me) and bee lined to the bank. I dropped Dave off there and went to run the other errands we needed to get done.

I got to Kohl's and the socks from Sat were not on sale anymore!! I was sad!!!! But I had a $10 gift card so my dilemma was is there something I really need? I bought each of the girls 4 pairs of underwear. I still paid $8 but now they each have 4 more pairs. Then I went over to petsmart and got hamster bedding and dog food. My Chihuahua only eats Science Diet small bites and please we have tried. Last time we tried to change his food we did it for a month and the dog didn't eat. He would steal garbage over eat something else. And an 8 lb bag lasts him about 3 months. He doesn't each much. While I was inline Dave called me ( he had me take his cell so he could get me if needed)  and requested my presence at the bank.

The bank lady was ubber nice. She tried calling the guys call back number etc.. did a trace for this supposed transaction and other stuff and we came to the conclusion it was fraudulent. So we wound up having to close out the account and open another one. What a pain in the booty but its all done and taken care of. Bad thing was we wrote the landlord a check this month that had not cleared yet (usually I get a bank check but was to busy) so we had to hunt him down and fork over a bank check (well we were there and it was convenient now to get one). So that sucked an hour of my morning up!!!

Ran over to Costco really fast , returned a few things, bought 2 Christmas presents for the girls. Both of them need new bathrobes and they had them for $14 So I snapped up one for each girl. This is one of the few things they are going to get. I am on the look out for slippers for both girls to go with them. Also got gas while I was there.

Next we ran down and got a turkey. Almost didn't but the kids wanted us to do a nice dinner. After that off to the commissary I went. We decided to break down and get a brisket. I can get several meals out of one. So we got tofu, spinach, the brisket, some lunch meat (gasp!!! real food for lunch!!) bread and a few other things. Then home we went to drop off...I was starving by now since I didn't have anything yet to eat and it was almost 1 pm!!!!

Throw the groceries in the house, grab some more water, bathroom break and we have Dave's Dr appt!! Did I mention he hurt his back and can't sit stand or walk without pain??? He was getting wood for a fire sat night and now he is hurting. I told him to go to the ER on Sunday but he wouldn't listen to me. So he got some pain meds and muscle relaxers now for a few weeks. It a major muscle spasms in his lower back. So now, no more wood moving for him. I am going to freeze to death!!

So finally we get home!! Or so I thought!! We made a rub for the brisket and went to put it in the smoker... We have no wood chips!!! GAH!!!!! So off to Wal-mart I got sent so we can get this going. It has to smoke for 6 or so hours then bake at 220 for 4 more. I am so looking forward to the sweet smokey delicate flavor of BBQ sandwiches for the rest of the week. I made my most awesome in the whole wide world home made BBQ sauce. I am not kidding. It is awesome. I got told I win a county fair with it if they did BBQ sauce here. I also made a batch of cole slaw to go with it and its marinating in the fridge so it's ready for tomorrow. I can't wait for dinner!! Tonight we had tofu bakes. Take tofu cut into slabs about 1/3 inch think. Lay on a cookie sheet. Wilt some spinach. Sauté onions and mushrooms in garlic. Mix in some tomatoes, the spinach, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Lay on tofu and bake for 15 min at 350. Serve warm. AWESOME!!! It was yummy and the person who inspired it was Lilacspecs.

The stuff to ship the Xbox back came today also. So as I type this novel Dave and Jon are packing it up to ship it back. The girls are at Liz's tonight playing with goober. I need to get some new pics of Stephie with him She was ubber happy to see him tonight. Oh and get this Marissa told me not to share but I am going to. She was looking at her new undies and saw they are XL( boy short undies 100% cotton and looked small for the size in her defense ( she is tiny)). She flipped out saying I am not that big!! And on and on. I told her to go try a pair on over her undies and let me know how they fit. She comes out telling me to shush it and not say a word about it. I was laughing so hard. Ya gotta love the things kids say!!!
