Science and Industry

We took the train to Chicago today. The girls had the best time!!! They have never been on a train before. We sat on the top level. It was nice to not have to drive!!  We then took a free trolley around Chicago. Of course it didn't go where we needed. We then hopped on the CTA and got the Museum of Science and Industry. I was shocked!!! The prices are way more then listed on their website. I was so disappointed they don't offer a military discount either. Guess I have been spoiled living in areas where military is actually important and you want our business. One of the reasons we went was to tour the U 505 sub. And as luck would have it it was sold out and we could not do it. Dave was way upset at that. We did see the CSI thing. Marissa really liked that. There was a rock climbing wall thing that Stephie went nuts over. She is into those things. The kids did really enjoy the day. Of course we are once again on heck of a tired family. George came over later in the evening and we just sat and visited. It was nice. I think he is really missing my mom. Tomorrow is pack the house up and do some repairs day. Its going to be very long.

Dave is still being a dork in my opinion. He keeps trying to throw things out that I want. I also feel like he is pushing me. This is hard for me and he keeps on me. I need some time to get through this and he is not giving me it. I have not slept in over a week. I am so tired and sore it is not funny. I am going to need months to recover after this. My fibro is flaring and I am miserable. I think I am going to need a doc appt next week and some muscle relaxants prescribed.

OH and the kicker to my day??? I have had the same pair of sunglasses for a few years. Today I dropped them in my purse as usual and when I went to put them on there was several HUGE! scratches in the lens! So tomorrow I need to find new ones. I can't drive home without any. I would go insane!!!! Besides I couldn't see anything and would be blind before I left Tinley Park.
