My mom lost her fight. She passed away peacefully this morning. I spent the day getting a loan to drive to Illinois, dropping off real estate papers we needed to handle so we could leave, and running like mad to handle things at the house. We are planning on heading out first thing tomorrow morning as we can't leave any sooner because of medical. We didn't get to the pharmacy in time to pick up some meds we need and can't do it before 7:30 am. So the plan is to haul butt and do the trip in 3 days. 2000 miles in 3 days with 2 kids.
