We decided to take the kids up to Ft Worden today for some fun time. We also we thinking we wanted to dig some  oysters. Dave was looking and realized that when he got his license that part did not print out. SO we had to stop off at Walmart to get it fixed. The person who works that dept was on lunch and the guy trying to help us had no idea how to. W wound up getting the asst store manager in on this. On the way up we stopped off at a winery. That was FUN!!! They had an awesome port we tried. Definitely worth going back up for. The girls took walkie talkies into the bunkers while we laid on the beach and listened to the sound of the crashing waves. IT was awesome!!!!We decided after about an hour to take a walk on the beach. We held hands for a few minutes until the girls caught up to us and interrupted our quiet time. We walked out to the point and played there for awhile.  We then went back to the bunkers and had fun scaring the girls. We tried to dig someplace to dig oysters but our luck...The first place we tried was a long walk to the beach and we were sort of tired by then so we skipped that one. We stopped off at Mc Donald's and got the girls some food. We drove back down towards the house and decided to try a few places we know of this way. The first place we went was not accessible due to high tide. We gave up at this point and just came home. All in all it was a really good day. The girls are "camping" in the backyard tonight.
