I HATE GO DADDY

end transmission

well now....

I am working on getting a new hosting solution. I really despise Godaddy. Please bear with us in the next few days until we get thigns moved and reset.

The answer is....

Brick. On page 148 in the first book. SO now we know.

Marissa is now doing Track.

Spam did pass away. He is now in the great hamster wheel in the sky. NO more new pets. She has a bamboo plant now.

Jon officially has his car. We did the last check swap. Its his. Now he and Navy Federal own it.

I am tired.

I need to come up with more trivia stuff to drive me kids bonkers.

Catching up

I did a count and between all our cameras we took over 600 pics. I have been sorting them and deleting the doubles. We took 50 of the forks and Stephie's science fair project to Costco and got prints made. We made the Twilight pics into a little photo album that they are going to take turns bringing to school.

Marissa did make cheer again. She has uniform fitting next week already. It is a grueling schedule.

Marissa's hamster is not doing well. He is almost 3 years old. Is it old age. We strongly believe he is blind now. He shakes when he walks. He is a very old hamster. She loves him so much. We had a long discussion that we will not replace Spam when he passes. She is thinking about a fish. I got her a Bamboo plant. She will probably get 2 or 3 more when he passes.

We rented 3 movies this week on top of all the craziness.

Slumdog Millionaire: Must see not so much for kids. The scene when they are crippling the children was a little over the top gross. Very intense movie. It was good. It is a story of how he knew all these off the wall facts and its about his life growing up on the streets.

Marley and Me : Very good movie but had Marissa and I in tears in the end. Especially if you have a pet dying right now it really hits home. Funny to see the dog kicked out of dog school for being so bad. Reminded me of our dog He has a wild side to him.

High School Musical 3: Marissa swore she would not watch it with me. She did. We came to the same conclusion. UGH! NOt worth it. The first one was good. The second one was watchable. The 3rd one was annoying.

The last Er was so freakin good. I am sad to see that show end. It is one that I have watched from the start.

My dvr is not working correctly either. It is hit or miss if it will record a show. Makes me mad. It worked well for awhile. I enjoyed just doing what ever and when I got an hour or so I turn on what I have taped. I have to call Directv and have them reset the box. Its not going to be fun though because all my taped shows will be lost and I will have to sit here and reset everything. UGH! It's been nice to forget a series and suddenly see a new one there to watch. I am horrible about tv at night. We are so busy I loose track of time. If things aren't recorded I would never see it.

Its kind of nice not having the Saturn payment anymore. I am waiting for them to list the car as paid. I received my check from the insurance so I am pretty sure they have since they are in the same state as each other and I am not.

Jon is still waiting for his money back from Parr ford. Yeah... I can't say enough negatives against them right now.

So to wrap up I am going to start listing Trivia questions. I am still working on what I am giving away on Monday. I have the gift but not sure how I want to do it.

Question time: What is the Swan Driveway made off???

We are still trying to find the answer so if ya know leave me a comment and a page and book reference so we can verify it.

After action report

The girls had an awesome time. They are thrilled we did it. The only thing they were not excited about was the Parliament building. They are in love with the hotel we stayed in. They thought is was the best one ever.  And I agree. It was the best one we have ever stayed at. And the price was not bad at all. I was pleasantly surprised. We got an incredible deal. The girls are begging to go back to the entire trip but in summer when La Push would be more enjoyable. I had forgot to mention we ate lunch at  Subway in Forks. They had the most interesting Twilight Sandwich. It had ham, chicken breast, and bacon with marinara sauce and grated cheese toasted. The girls gobbled them up. It was incredibly busy. We did not have a car nor did we us taxis. All in all this trip came in under budget. I would of liked to spend 2 or 3 more days in Victoria and be able to afford the gardens and high tea. But that would of tripled what we spent and I could not have afforded that. Marissa is thinking about just hanging out in Forks and La push for her birthday. We would of course toss in a day in Port Angeles with Liz and boogie. We would also probably go the long loop home and go a day or 2 in Pacific Beach then onto Westport and go crabbing before heading home. All this could be a 3 day trip. We would drag is out and make 4 or 5 if I can get the time. And all this is within 3 hours of my house so it can be very flexible. Not sure though about how long to make it since we have a possible trip to Ca coming in late August. Jon and gang are hoping to go to Blizzcon again and this year we are going to go with. ( I hope!!!)

So it was a way busy started to break but the girls have said it will be most memorable.

Victoria to home

We woke up and had a wonderful breakfast. The girls loved the tea we had with it. There were eggs, loads of fresh awesome fruit, smoked salmon, ham, granola and yogurt. There was way to much to remember.

After breakfast we went to the wax museum.

We went to lunch at a little sandwich shop on the back side of the hotel. We had some yummy wrap sandwiches. From there we went to the parliament buildings. But of course they had stood up the day before so we missed it again.

From there we went back to the hotel and warmed up. Then we once again went to the wax museum before we retrieved out bags from the hotel and caught the ferry home again.
Once back in Wa we walked back to the car. It was raining. It was cold. It was not so fun. We met Liz and boogie once more before we left and had McDonalds. It was only about an hour and 15 minute drive home. Needless to say both kids were sound asleep.

We arrived home about 8:30 pm.

Port Angeles to Victoria

Yup we left the US today. The ferry was wicked. Marissa got very sea sick. We were rocking and rolling. She was texting her sister telling her we are going to die like on the Titanic

We arrived to see a beautiful view of the hotel.

We checked in and looked around our room.
Photobucket Photobucket

We went to lunch at the Spaghetti Factory. The went to the Royal BC museum. We lucked into a basement tour where they make the new exhibits. It was pretty cool!!! We then went back to the hotel and hung out till dinner.

After dinner we walked the water front. Then we hung out in the hot tub and pool for about an hour before heading to bed.

When we returned to the hotel before bed we went into the lounge and found these. And yes they tasted incredible!!

Photobucket Photobucket
We also found a quaint little pharmacy behind the hotel and bought several Aero bars. OMG those are the best chocolate bat in the entire world. We actually went there to find some motion sickness medicine for Marissa. She was quite ill early in the day and we feared the ferry home would be just as bad for her.

Spring Break our style

We had an awesome ubber busy day today!!!!! We went to the Chamber of Commerce and received a map of where to find everything. We purchased some really cool trinkets and I am planning a give away soon with a few of them. Both girls got travel mugs. We purchased some cute pens, apple candles, magnets, book marks, etc.... We did go to Port Angeles for the night. We ate at Bella Italia and both girls had mushroom ravioli. They raved at how good it was. We again stayed and the Royal Victorian. The beds were uncomfy this time though. The owner is still a sweet heart.

We started out by going to

The Cullen Residence and a message from Esme as to their whereabouts the day we were there.

From there we went to
Photobucket

We saw the cliffs and were asked to please not try diving from them
Photobucket

So we just played on the beach for a time until we froze.
Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket

When we were thoroughly frozen we hoped in the car and went to Port Angeles where we met up with Liz and Adrian and had dinner.
Photobucket Photobucket

From there we went to the water front and hung out with the rocktopus. The beach there is on a different side from La push and was quite pleasant.

Where Boogie and Grandpa skipped rocks for awhile

From there we called it a night and went to the hotel where the cutest little wash rag bunnies awaited us

Stay Tuned all you Twilight fans!!!

Wait till you see tomorrows post!! And I am hoping to have a twilight giveaway in the next week or so!! I am so excited. The girls are ubber hyper. We have kept the plans under wraps because yeah well I am a twilight dork and was not able to admit it until now. I have read all 4 books at least once. I have seen the movie more then once. Stephie has seen it 18 times. Marissa is at 7. The girls have the books memorized. They did a trivia thing and knew every answer. They live twilight. They have their own terminology. They love Eddiekins. And yes people in Wa really do dress like Bella in the movie. Trust me on this one.

We have the perfume, book bags, way to many tshirts, jackets, pins, music box, chest of some type, glitter, pens, books, posters, and way more then any one house should. The girls used there own money to buy most of it too. I seriously think I live with the biggest Twilight fans alive.

Seriously.

HI my name is Mom and I am addicted to Twilight but my girls are bigger addicts then me.

We actually have hook other people. Like my oldest daughter. Friends of the other kids. etc... We watch, read and talk it way to much!!!

Finally!!

He got a car!!! A 2007 Chevy Cobalt. Black. Loads of features. He is happy. Now to finish getting his money back from Parr ford to put a down payment on it. He has most of the loan its just making up the difference. He loves it. It is shiny!! It has a cute little spoiler on the back too. Its sort of sporty with 4 doors.

Photobucket Photobucket

Spring break has sprung here. Kids are happy. We have an exciting few days coming up. This is a trip they will remember. And yes it is on a shoe string budget. It is very different.

We have final numbers on the car situation. The Saturn will be / is paid off now. We made out with a whopping $46.59. OH BOY!!!! Yeah... We are so not happy with this whole situation. My son officially has whip lash. He is looking at some PT. He is taking naproxin regularly for headaches and pain. We are out a car. We had 6 payments left on it. We would of had 2k or so to put on a trade if we still had it and now we have nothing. Yeah I am a lotta angry. Just one more thing that doesn't go right for us.

I did not get the job either.

This sucks.
